History
The Natural Food Co-op was formed in 1976 by volunteers committed to providing healthy food options to members. In 1995, we extended this option to non-members to allow the greater community to benefit.
Since its inception, the store has moved to various locations in Chadron, and currently resides at 249 Main Street.
Our non-profit organization is one of the few co-ops in the country run entirely by volunteer staff. How cool is that?
